Chakana Studio - NY USA

Chakana Studio is an animation and post-production studio based in New York. They have completed various projects both in the USA and in other regions of Latin America. They have received several accolades for their animations, including a nomination for the 2021 64th Annual NY EMMY. They needed a website that prioritizes showcasing the quality of their animations, with a highly visual design that creatively displays their portfolio. The design was created by them.

As the Webflow developer for eContent Digital's website, I helped create a project that earned Honoree status at the 2024 Webby Awards for Best Responsive/Adaptive Design for Mobile.

We share this recognition with Universal Studios Hollywood, while Google Chrome and Threads Web took the top prizes.

We worked in a Lean manner, investing little time and resources into an MVP, which validated that the market did not desire our value proposition.

With Carito and Chalo, we founded Profe a Tiempo, the first platform in Ecuador to connect school and college students seeking private tutoring in exact subjects with teachers offering these services. It was our first venture (for all three of us), a project we hold dear, but due to a lack of experience, it couldn't take off. Working with her was a pleasure; she is a professional like no other.
